GRIDDY LEAGUE — OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS (FULL VERSION)

Organiser: Griddy Grid Pte. Ltd. (“Griddy Grid”, “the Organiser”, “we”, “us”,“our”)



SECTION 1 – GENERAL TERMS
1.    All existing Griddy Grid Terms & Conditions apply unless otherwise stated herein.

2.    Participation in the Griddy League constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and all house rules.

3.    Griddy Grid reserves the right to amend, modify, or cancel the League, rules, schedule, or prizes at any time without prior notice.

4.    Players must maintain good sportsmanship and respect other participants and staff.

5.    Profanity, offensive language, harassment, or inappropriate team names will result in disqualification and voided entries.

6.    Disruptive, unsafe, or unsportsman-like behaviour may lead to immediate removal from the premises.

7.    Participants are responsible for their own health and safety and must not participate under conditions of fatigue, injury, or intoxication.

8.    Griddy Grid is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation except in cases of proven negligence.

SECTION 2 – REGISTRATION & BOOKING

9.    Teams must ensure all registration details (team name, participant names, contact info) are accurate.

10.  Griddy Grid is not responsible for any issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete registration details.

11.  Each booking is assigned a unique Booking ID. Only one (1) validscore submission will be accepted per Booking ID. In the event of any duplicate, falsified, or multiple entries associated with the same Booking ID, all related scores shall be deemed void and disqualified at Griddy Grid’s sole discretion.

SECTION 3 – GAMEPLAY & SCORING

12.  All gameplay must comply with Griddy Grid’s official game rules.

13.  Only Griddy Grid-provided equipment may be used; any tampering orunauthorized equipment is prohibited.

14.  Matches may be recorded for verification and promotional purposes.

15.  Only scores recorded and verified by Griddy Grid’s systems and staffare considered valid.

16.  System logs, game footage, and staff records are the sole authoritative sources for results and verification.

17.  Gameplay will not be replayed or paused due to technical issues or player error unless deemed necessary by management.

18.  Leaderboards are updated at management’s discretion and may be corrected if errors are found.

19.  In the event of a tie between two or more teams or players with identical scores, precedence shall be granted to the booking that achieved thetied score first, as recorded by Griddy Grid’s official system timestamp.

SECTION 4 – DISPUTES & ENFORCEMENT

20.  Disputes must be raised immediately after gameplay or within 24hours via official communication channel.

21.  Management decisions on all results and disputes are final.

22.  Any attempt to manipulate, falsify, or interfere with scoring systems constitutes fraud and may result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, permanent bans, and legal action.

23.  Griddy Grid reserves the right to withhold prizes pendinginvestigation of suspected misconduct.

24.  Investigations will be completed within 14 working days wherepossible.

25.  Griddy Grid may retain gameplay footage, logs, and verification datafor at least 90 days after competition for audit purposes.

26.  Management’s decision following investigation is final and binding.

SECTION 5 – SEASON-END PRIZES

27.  Season-end prizes shall be awarded to 1st place only.

28.  Season-end prize amounts are as follows: Mega Grid – SGD $1088; Standard Room – SGD $588.

29.  Team Prizes: Only the registered session owner / team captain will be recognized as the official recipient of the prize.

30.  Cash prizes will be issued solely to the registered session owner. Griddy Grid bears no responsibility for internal team sharing arrangements.

31.  The session owner must provide valid identification matching registration details to collect prizes.

32.  Season-end prizes must be claimed within 30 days from the official announcement date. Failure to claim within this period will result in automatic forfeiture. This clause applies strictly to season-end prizes only and does not apply to weekly cash prizes governed below.

33.  Winners are solely responsible for any taxes or charges associated with their winnings.

34.  Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, products, or services.

SECTION 6 – WEEKLY CASH PRIZES

35.  Weekly cash prizes may be awarded during the League season as follows:
Standard Room – SGD $50;
Mega Grid – SGD $100.

36.  The weekly leaderboard resets automatically every Friday at 0000 hours (SGT). The qualifying period for each weekly cycle runs strictly from Friday 0001 hours(SGT) to Thursday 2359 hours (SGT). Scores recorded outside this qualifying window will not be eligible for that week’s prize consideration.

37.  For the avoidance of doubt, all timing, cut-offs, resets, and qualification windows shall be determined strictly based on Griddy Grid’s official system server time (SGT),which shall be final and binding.

38.  Weekly prize eligibility is subject to successful capture of official gameplay photo and verification against Griddy Grid’s system records. Entries lacking proper verification may be disqualified at management’s discretion.

39.  Weekly winners willbe announced exclusively via Griddy Grid’s official social media platforms. It is the participant’s sole responsibility to monitor such platforms forannouncements.

40.  The 24-hour response period shall commence from the official timestamp of the social media announcement as recorded by the relevant platform. No extensions will be granted.

41.  Failure to respond within this 24-hour period will result in automatic forfeiture and the prize amount will be rolled over to the subsequent weekly cycle.

42.  Rolled-over weekly prize amounts may be capped, adjusted, or reset at Griddy Grid’s sole discretion.

43.  Weekly cash prizes are subject to a minimum number of qualifying entries as determined by Griddy Grid. Griddy Grid reserves the right to withhold, suspend, or cancel a weekly prize if participation levels are deemed insufficient.

44.  Weekly cash prizes shall be paid via PayNow or Bank Transfer only. Payment will be processed within 24 hours upon receipt of accurate and complete payment details.

45.  If incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate PayNow or bank transfer details are provided by the winner, Griddy Grid shall not be responsible for any failed, rejected, or misdirected transfers. Once payment has been successfully transferred to the details provided, Griddy Grid’s payment obligation shall be deemed fully discharged and no replacement or secondary payment will be issued.

46.  PayNow or bank transfer confirmation records, together with corresponding communication records, shall constitute valid and sufficient proof of payment. Griddy Grid reserves the right to retain such records for audit and dispute resolution purposes.

SECTION 7 – LIABILITY & GENERAL PROVISIONS

47.  In the event of power failure, equipment malfunction, fire, or otherunforeseen circumstances (“Acts of Nature” or “Operational Events”), Griddy Grid shall not be held liable for any loss of scores, interruptions, or missed gameplay.

48.  If a game session is disrupted due to such events, Griddy Grid will offer a complimentary replacement session, subject to availability and management discretion.

49.  Refunds will not be issued for reasons outside of Griddy Grid’s control.

50.  By participating, players consent to the use of their photos, videos, names, and likeness in marketing and promotional materials without additional compensation.

51.  All collected personal data will be handled according to Singapore PDPA guidelines and used only for league administration and prize fulfilment.

52.  Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Griddy Grid from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from participation, including internal team disputes over prize distribution.

53.  Griddy Grid’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the value of the prize in question.

54.  Griddy Grid reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the competition due to events beyond reasonable control, including technical failures, safety issues, or government regulations.
